NORTHERN SAMAR DECLARED AS PEACE, MANAGEABLE, CONFLICT AFFECTED AND READY FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT PROVINCE
NSPPO - The Provincial Government of Northern Samar and the 8th Infantry (Storm Troopers) Division, Philippine Army through the 803rd Infantry (Peacemaker) Brigade spearheaded the Joint Declaration of Northern Samar as Peace, Manageable, Conflict Affected and Ready for Further Development Province on December 4, 2014 held at the Farmer’s Training Center, University of Eastern Philippines, Catarman, Northern Samar. The declaration of Northern Samar as Peace, Manageable, Conflict Affected and Ready for Further Development Province that leads towards the realization of a progressive Northern Samar. The activity was well-attended by key stakeholders for the peace effort which includes: Hon Jose L. Ong Jr., Governor of Northern Samar; Most Rev Emmanuel C. Trance, Bishop Archdiocese of Catarman; Lt Gen Nicanor M. Vivar, Commander of Central Command AFP; Maj Gen Jet B. Velarmino, Commander 8th Infantry Division PA; Hon Gary M. Lavin, Vice Governor of Northern Samar; Col Heminigildo C. Aquino, Commander 803rd Infantry Brigade; Ms Imelda C. Bonifacio, OPAPP Area Manager, and PSSUPT DANIEL CABITAC MAYONI, Acting Provincial Director of NSPPO. Likewise, the activity was graced by the different chief executives of Northern Samar municipalities, heads and representatives of the different local government agencies and sectors of the society.
NSPPO – The Philippine Red Cross, Northern Samar Chapter sponsored a fun run for a case tagged as “Dagadlagan 2014”. In support of this activity, PNP personnel of this Office under the leadership of PSSUPT DANIEL CABITAC MAYONI, Acting Provincial Director together with other participating offices joined this fun run on November 22, 2014 held at around poblacion of Catarman, Northern Samar.
NSPPO - November 4, 2014, PSSUPT DANIEL CABITAC MAYONI, Acting Provincial Director along with PSUPT OWEN SAURO ANDARINO, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, NSPPO conducted Orientation to the newly hired Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) assigned to this PPO held at Makatao Hall, NSPPO, Camp Carlos Delgado, Catarman this province. The said orientation designed to introduce to the newly hired Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) the PNP Organization’s Mission, Vision, Culture and Policies. It is designed tohelp the newly hired Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) familiarized the Administrative and Operational Functions of the Northern Samar Police Provincial Office.
After the retirement of PSSUPT MARIO ABRAHAM GONZALES LENAMING, the men and women of NSPPO welcomed PSSUPT DANIEL CABITAC MAYONI as the Officer-In-Charge of NSPPO during the flag raising ceremony on November 3, 2014 held at Makatao Hall. Prior to his new assignment in Northern Samar Province, he was the former Chief of Research and Development Center, Directorate for Research and Development of the National Headquarters of the Philippine National Police, Camp Crame, Quezon City. He is member of Philippine National Police Academy Class of 1990. For his programs and projects his top priority is intensifying the Anti-Crime and Anti-Illegal Drugs campaign on the way to genuine peace and order in the province of Northern Samar.
